MESSAGE FROM SUPERINTENDENT CHIP CARRINGER:

Graham County Schools has a tradition of performing well in academics, athletics, and extracurricular activities. I appreciate the dedication and hard work of our teachers, staff, and students, all of which contribute to the performance of our schools. Parents and community are also vital components to the success of Graham County Schools and I appreciate and value their support and cooperation. All stakeholders are essential to the continued success of our school system in providing a safe learning environment in which all students can succeed.

Many of our facilities have been renovated or upgraded in recent years as we strive to meet the educational needs of 21st century students. The Healthful Living Center is our newest facility and will open for the 2008-2009 school year. Future plans are to renovate the old Health Department to house the Youth Developmental Center.

I am thankful to be a part of Graham County and its school system. Your child’s education is our priority and I encourage you to be involved and become a partner in the education of your child.
