Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship

The Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship Program is a federally –funded program established to promote student excellence and academic achievement.

Open to: Seniors with academic merit.

Application: Online to print and return with copies of parents’ federal tax forms 1040 (page one only) and their W-2 forms for latest year these forms were filed. Note:  In the case of divorced parents, only the custodial parent’s (and current spouse’s, if remarried) financial information is required.

Return application to: Mr. Poole, RHS Guidance Counselor

Deadline: March 10th

Amount: $1,500.00 renewable

Payment of funds: Funds will be paid to the college you are attending with proof of enrollment full-time in an accredited institution with a GPA of 3.0 or greater, and are pursuing a course of study leading to an undergraduate degree.
