Woman’s Club Scholarship is a gift from
Elda
C. Penny to help support the costs of higher education for students from
Graham
County
. Scholarships will be awarded without regard to race, creed, sex, ethnic background or handicap.
Criteria: Strong moral character, Academic ability/achievement, Community service/outstanding contributions to school and community, Extracurricular activities and/or work experience, Financial need
The recipient of this scholarship will be selected by the RHS scholarship committee.
Open to: Seniors who will attend any accredited college, university or community college within the
U.S.
and be enrolled in a full-time course of study.

Deadline: February 10th
Amount: Two non-renewable scholarships (one at $1,000 and one at $750).
Payment of funds: Payment of the scholarship awards will be made directly to the school in the fall following the award for each recipient’s account. This scholarship is non-renewable, although previous recipients may reapply while working toward and undergraduate degree.
Recipients will be contacted during the summer to gather information about educational plans. Funds will be sent to the college you are attending.
