High School
in 1959,
Mars
Hill
Junior College
in 1961, and the
University
of
Georgia
in 1964 with a degree in forestry.

- High School diploma or equivalent, in award year
- Demonstrates financial need
- Sound academic performance
- Plans to enroll full-time in college or university, in award year
Open to: Seniors who plan to attend an accredited community college or a four-year college/university.

Deadline: February 10th
Amount: Six $500.00 one-time scholarships are available to graduating seniors.
Payment of funds: Payment of scholarship awards will be made directly to the applicable school for the recipient’s account in the fall following the award. These scholarships are not renewable.
Recipients will be contacted during the summer to gather information about educational plans. Funds will then be sent to the college you are attending.
