The Charlie Laub Memorial Scholarship

Charlie Laub was a counselor at the Graham County / Smoky Mountain Center and served Robbinsville High School as a crisis counselor when needed. On December 10, 1988 , the Smoky Mountain Center was dedicated to Charlie Lab as “a truly selfless public servant whose unwavering compassion and benevolence will serve as a model for all who had the privilege of knowing him.”

Open to: Seniors who plan to attend a two or four year college or university

Application: Online to print and return to RHS Guidance Office with copies of parents’ federal tax forms 1040 (page one only) and their W-2 forms for latest year these forms were filed. Note:  In the case of divorced parents, only the custodial parent’s (and current spouse’s, if remarried) financial information is required.

Deadline: March 10th  

Amount: $500.00 non-renewable

Payment of funds: This scholarship is paid after the successful completion of a student’s first semester and registration for a second semester.
