Southwestern Health System Foundation Scholarship
The Southwestern Health System Foundation is dedicated to “making our community a healthier and better place to live.”
This scholarship is available to students planning on attending an accredited college or vocational school to prepare for a profession in the health care field.
Applicants will be judged according to the following criteria: GPA, the degree of challenge represented by the student’s junior and senior course curriculum, PSAT, SAT or ACT test scores, financial need, extracurricular activities and community service, work activities and an essay of 300-500 words explaining why the student is seeking this scholarship.
This scholarship will be selected by the RHS Scholarship Committee.
Open to: Seniors who plan to attend college and major in health care.
Application: Online to print and return with copies of parents’ federal tax forms 1040 (page one only) and their W-2 forms for latest year these forms were filed. Note: In the case of divorced parents, only the custodial parent’s (and current spouse’s, if remarried) financial information is required.

Deadline: March 10th
Amount: $1,500 renewable
Payment of funds: This scholarship will be paid directly to the financial affairs office of the college you are enrolled.
