Flu Shots for Employees, Retirees and Dependents
When: October 22, 2008
Time: Robbinsville Elementary School: 9:00 – 10:30, and
Robbinsville Middle & High School: 11:00 – 1:00
Employees’ children between the ages of nine and 17 must have parents with them.
Children under nine must go to a physician for their shots.
There will be a charge of $30.00 per flu shot for family members and employees who are not covered by the State Health Plan and/or BCBSNC.
Employees must have your insurance card or your insurance #. |

 BRICKS for the HEALTHFUL LIVING CENTER Robbinsville High School currently has a new Healthful Living Center under construction at the RHS Track. This new facility will include the Graham County Athletic Hall of Fame, a state of the art weight room, an auditorium style classroom, a training room for athletes, and locker rooms and storage for the football and track teams.  Graham County Schools is pleased to announce the launch of the Connect-ED® service, our new school-to-parent communications service. With the Connect-ED service, our schools can send periodic and personalized voice messages to parents within minutes. The Connect-ED service will be used to complement our emergency preparedness procedures and to inform parents of upcoming school events such as statewide testing, fund-raisers and PTA meetings.  GEAR UP is a state funded grant that was issued to Graham County Schools this past year. The program encourages students to graduate high school and pursue and postsecondary education. GEAR UP is designed to offer programs and activities to students and their parent/guardians including College Visits, Tutoring, Summer Programs, Career Awareness, Academic Counseling, College Advising, Financial Aid Workshops as well as Professional Development for teachers.
